Five Tips to Save at J.Crew :: Tip #4
Here’s the next tip in my “How to save at J.Crew” series:
Tip #4: Learn your sizes.
This may sound like a no-brainer of a tip, especially since when you’re in the store, you can try the piece on, minimizing spending on something you won’t wear or doesn’t fit right. Saving the most will mean shopping final sale, in store or online. Final sale at J.Crew means no returns or exchanges. When it’s final sale online, you can’t try that top on that they only have a 0 and a 6 left in. J.Crew is one of the most consistently sized brands out there right now. If you’re usually a 2, it’s your call if you want to try and make a 0 or 6 work, but chances are one is probably going to be too big and the other a little small. By knowing your sizes, you’ll save money by not spending on items that won’t fit that you can’t return.
There will always be that one item that doesn’t fit true to J.Crew sizing, so browse around google for reviews from people that have already bought the item and are sharing their thoughts. Most J.Crew fans are hoping they will have reviews on the website soon since the wishlist tool has been added. Have you found J.Crew sizing to be consistent for you? Let me know!
