Plaid Popover Remix

I’m linking up and posting late today because I’ve been enjoying my 3 day weekend! Cleaning, laundry, cooking– it’s all been getting done around here these past few days. I’ve also been enjoying planning the blogging month ahead. So for this week (and the next) you’re getting some older outfits from when we had that nice weather probably three weeks ago now… yeah, sorry not sorry. My pjs have been a little too comfortable these past few days to get out of them.

This post could alternately be titled, “I am obsessed with my leopard accessories.” I totally am. This outfit is from my dress up day, but I did actually wear a variation of this outfit, swapping my boyfriend jeans for a straight leg full length jean. I get the concept of boyfriend jeans, but I don’t think I really like them. Maybe I’m doing it wrong. I probably am. Seriously, what’s not to like about getting a free pass to wear baggy jeans? Any tips for enjoying wearing my boyfriend jeans are welcome here.

  1. Love the outfit! The leopard makes the whole thing chic instead of cowboy! I'm mystified by boyfriend jeans, too. I mean, in theory they look casual and cool, but in practice I just feel sloppy.

Also, super jealous of your productive weekend. I planned to work on blog posts but I just was enjoying not having to do a dang thing too much to be bothered…ooops!

  2. Meghan, your outfit is adorable. I am in love with the plaid shirt and pearl bauble necklace, especially paired together. You are looking great and this outfit transitions well for Fall, too.

    Happy September Pretty Girl!

  3. Haha! Though I have absolutely no problem with cowboy. After all I married one. 😉 I don't even love the boyfriend jeans here, though everyone was like "nice." Maybe the fit just isn't for me.

Weekends of nothing are more than completely worth it.

  4. Haha! Well when you only post one outfit a week, maybe two. Its easy to take enough in a day to last a while.
I thought it could all be a little much, but another part of my really liked putting it all together and wearing it.
