Plaid Popover Remix
I’m linking up and posting late today because I’ve been enjoying my 3 day weekend! Cleaning, laundry, cooking– it’s all been getting done around here these past few days. I’ve also been enjoying planning the blogging month ahead. So for this week (and the next) you’re getting some older outfits from when we had that nice weather probably three weeks ago now… yeah, sorry not sorry. My pjs have been a little too comfortable these past few days to get out of them.

Such a cute top! It's fun both ways!
Love that mixing of prints ….you look very pretty <3
i love that shirt!! it has great colors. xo jillian – cornflake dreams
Love the outfit! The leopard makes the whole thing chic instead of cowboy! I'm mystified by boyfriend jeans, too. I mean, in theory they look casual and cool, but in practice I just feel sloppy.
Also, super jealous of your productive weekend. I planned to work on blog posts but I just was enjoying not having to do a dang thing too much to be bothered…ooops!
Both outfits are so cute and flattering! Love it!
I can't with all your plaids, they are too good… gimme;)
Oooh I love this popver! You are making me wish it was cool outside already!
Love plaid with pearls! Gorgeous look!
Ohhh girl!!! Looking good! I think you look different here and I think it is good to try something new.
Meghan, your outfit is adorable. I am in love with the plaid shirt and pearl bauble necklace, especially paired together. You are looking great and this outfit transitions well for Fall, too.
Happy September Pretty Girl!
You are cute as a button. That is all.
Loving the pattern mixing!! So perfect!
I am throughly impressed that you are planning outfits for the month ahead! I also love your mix of plaid, pearls, and leopard. This is something I am going to add to my 'must wear' list!
Chic on the Cheap
Ha, nothing wrong with saving up posts for the future. But seriously, props on getting so many pictures taken that you have enough for the entire month! Also, great leopard flats—they stole the show from under that plaid popover.
Another Beautiful Thing
That's exactly why I love this look. It's very very different from what I usually put together/wear in real life.
Thanks Lindsey! It's definitely out of my comfort zone!
It's so lightweight I was able to wear it in 88° weather! I highly recommend it. You might could even wear it for a little bit before the baby takes over your wardrobe.
Well get 'em!
Haha! Though I have absolutely no problem with cowboy. After all I married one. 😉 I don't even love the boyfriend jeans here, though everyone was like "nice." Maybe the fit just isn't for me.
Weekends of nothing are more than completely worth it.
Thanks Jililian! These colors definitely are all over my wardrobe.
Thank you for your sweet comments! Can't wait to check out your blog.
That's exactly why I thought it was going to work well. I carried it over into my fall capsule too.
Yay for lazy comfy weekends!
Haha! Well when you only post one outfit a week, maybe two. Its easy to take enough in a day to last a while.
I thought it could all be a little much, but another part of my really liked putting it all together and wearing it.
Thanks for visiting Brittney! Since I only post an outfit a week it's pretty easy to do. 🙂 These leopard shoes are my absolute favorite. They get a lot of wear!
Awwww… sometimes it works out that way.
Thank you Ada! I appreciate your sweet words so much! I plan on mixing this up for fall! Glad you think it works so well.
What IS it about plaid + leopard that is so perfect?? I'll never figure it out.
There's nothing wrong with a little cowboy! haha
This is such a fun post, Meghan! I like how you've remixed this popover – what a great outfit for fall!!!
That necklace is to die for. Also I totally do that I have a few outfit photos stocked up cause when you're rocking it you really have to take advantage and snap pictures
It's one of the greatest mysteries of life.
Thanks Brynn! I plan on repeating it!
I totally agree! When you're in the mood take advantage of it!
