My Favs on Thursdays: Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Picks

My Favs on Thursday is a weekly link up with my best bloggy buddies Katy and Nicole and share our favorite thing of the week.

It’s Thursday! Friday is so close! Even though this week has been slower than last week, it’s been a week of catching up. Hopefully I’ll be back with a full week of blogging next week. Until then, enjoy my favorites this week.

Buzz about the Nordstrom Anniversary sale is in full force this week. Nordstrom holds so many childhood memories for me. Our nearest one growing up was at Perimeter Mall in Atlanta. We would go as a family and spend the entire afternoon there shopping, eating at the cafe, listening to the piano player. We didn’t go that often, so we would shop for the entire family while we were there. My parents always said they liked taking us there because it felt like when they would go to Belk’s (my mom) or Macy’s (my dad) as a child with their parents. We always went for the anniversary sale. So this favs is a little nostalgic for me, but needless to say, there are some great prices on pieces for now and fall. These are my picks.

It was really hard to narrow it down, but now is a great time to get basics, things that hardly go on sale
(like Hunter boots and Sperry’s) and pick up some fall and winter needs. And who can resist pj bottoms
with kitties on them?! Also check out the bag being styled by the fabulous Kaitlin. Oh if I just had
money to burn! Have you shopped the Nordstrom Anniversary sale yet? What are your picks? Don’t
forget to link up with your favorites from this week below.

  1. I keep thinking I need to get myself a pair of rain/hunter boots for the fall and spring seasons. I don't think I've ever been to a Nordstroms before. And I can count on one hand how many times I've walked into a Macy's. I've never lived in an area that had one and shopping has never been my thing…although sometimes I wish it were. A shopping spree sounds amazing.

  2. Thanks for linking up this week again Karen! Nordstrom has some great sales! I don't need anything at the moment either… that's why I'm trying really hard not to pull the trigger.

  3. Shopping sprees= amazing. Shopping sprees without money=suck fest. So I'm trying really hard not to pull the trigger. Nordstrom is more of a shopping experience. I like to just go look and be there.

  4. Oh Angelica! Their shoe selection is what made my mom start taking us there as kids. When they took away the Buster Browns it was the only place in Atlanta that carried affordable wide width shoes. Nordstrom is also behind sole society, whose shoes I LOVE!
