My Favs on Thursdays: Ipsy Sensationally Sunkissed Glam Bag July 2014

My Favs on Thursday is a weekly link up with my best bloggy buddies Katy and Nicole and share our favorite thing of the week.

It’s Thursday so I’m sharing my newest favorite. Make sure you link up below with your favorite too!

I’ve discussed before how much I’m addicted to subscription boxes. As much as I function online, there is something special about getting packages in the mail. July is the first month I have received an Ipsy Glam Bag. About two years ago, I started receiving both Birchbox and Ipsy and was quickly disappointed by Ipsy so I stopped it. Everyone’s glam bags looked amazing last month, so I signed back up. Today I bring you an unboxing video of what I got in my July Ipsy Glam Bag:

Overall, I’m kind of disappointed in this month’s especially after seeing the full sizes of perfect products last month that others got on Instagram, but I’m sure favorites are to come from my Ipsy!

What subscription boxes do you get? What do you think?

  1. Yeah I was a complete pass on the tint. The color of the nail polish was my favorite thing about my first month back with Ipsy.

  2. I don't regularly do any boxes. I cancelled Birchbox a long time ago. I don't ever get my Julep box. I skip most months for Shoemint. I wanted to get an outfit from Fabletics this month, but it just wasn't in the budget with the whole "we just bought a house" thing. Maybe next month! Hopefully your Ipsy will be awesome next time too!

  3. I am so with you on the fun of getting stuff in the mail! I have been checking my mailbox like crazy checking for a package from GAP lately! I don't do any box subscriptions, but I am always tempted!

  4. To save some money, I had to choose between Birchbox and Ipsy last year, and I ended up letting my Glam Bag go. I've been thinking of signing up again, but I'm on the fence. Definitely something to think about, as I did enjoy getting more full-sized products! 🙂

  5. That is the problem with those boxes, everyone got a great one last month you wanted, and now this month's is not your cup of tea. I would rather take my $10 or $20 a month and get products I know I will love, or at least have the option of returning if I don't.

But who knows – I have changed my mind about subscription services in the past. I said I would never pay for Spotify and now I could not live without it.
