Here it finally is! My fall capsule that started September 29. Yeah… I’ve been wearing these items for a while now, thus why I started going ahead and sharing outfits since I couldn’t get my stuff together for my collage post. Right now I’m working with 35 items, 33 of which are pictured below (I missed a few). I’m not counting shoes or outer layers (aka- jackets, vests, cardigans) since I don’t buy tons of those items anyway. Since I’m currently working with 35 items, I would like to ask for some advice below! Here’s the items that are definitely in the capsule::
Here’s the part where I need your help! Since weather doesn’t change much here in Georgia for winter, I don’t plan on changing my clothing choices much besides adding heavier sweaters and taller boots. Because I won’t be seeking out 35-40 new items come December/January, I would like to include more items in my fall capsule. Here are the 12 contenders below. I need your help deciding what, if any or all, will work with the 35 pieces I’ve already decided are essentials above.

oatmeal 3/4 sleeve sweater :: cobalt 3/4 sleeve sweater :: stripe chambray popover |
 |
mustard polka dot blouse :: checkerboard tee :: ivory 3/4 sleeve sweater |
 |
stripe 3/4 sleeve sweater :: navy 3/4 sleeve sweater :: burgundy/navy embroidered front tee |
 |
olive chino pants :: camel colored cafe capris :: dark rinse straight blue jeans |
I’m thinking the oatmeal and cobalt sweaters are pretty close to in, but of those last 12, what do you think needs to be included? What needs to go? Thanks for all your help in advance!
Definitely the Ivory 3/4 sleeve. SUCH a good neutral and an awesome base to a lot of outfits.
Definitely the cobalt sweater! The striped oxford would be pretty versatile, too!
I don't know how cold it really gets, but I'm concerned that you have a lot of short sleeve tees and no blazers or cardigans to layer over them! I love the embroidery front tee – it's so gorgeous!
Chic on the Cheap
It seems like a lot of your starting pieces are neutrals or nearly neutrals, so I would definitely add some color with the fun tee, the mustard blouse, the burgundy/navy top, and the blue sweater. I think the camel pants would be a great addition. I guess it just depends whether you want more variety in pants or tops. I find myself gravitating toward the same few pairs of pants during the winter, so I'd rather have different tops. Good luck!
I think adding your denim jacket or utility jacket or a few cardigans for layers pieces will be great additions and give you a lot more options. The cream/tan crew necks would be pretty versatile too.
I also think a couple of cardigans would be a good addition. I know it's not "cold" where you live, but it's nice to have the option to layer (and it makes outfit planning a bit easier).

Something About That
I really need to do a capsule wardrobe, and go through my closet! I think adding some solid color sweaters would be awesome đ

I think the checkerboard tee might be a fun addition! As for the others, a couple of the plain, neutral sweaters could work, since you seem to have a good mix of colors and patterns already.
Eeee! Capsule wardrobes are my favorite! This seriously is so exciting to look at to me (nerd alert!!!). I especially love the embroidered front tee, polka dot sweater, both tunics, and burgundy jeans. The colors you chose are so wonderful đ As far as things that I think you should add, my votes go to the checkerboard tee, navy sweater, and jeans.
Your wardrobe is so good. Love all the pattern – I need to spice that up for my winter one so I don't get bored!
