Saturday, I received my second Studio Calico Project Life monthly kit in the mail. This is a great way to get add on cards and unique embellishments for your albums. It is a subscription box, but you don’t have to be a member to get a box every month. Studio Calico also has scrapbooking and card making boxes that you can subscribe to or order every month. If you’re unfamiliar with Project Life take a look at the creator’s website. It’s also called pocket scrapbooking. It’s great for those big on memory keeping but short on time, aka: Me.
There are so many CUTE aspects of project life. The paper patterns are adorable. Studio Calico puts their own touch on accessories for project life. You can subscribe to get one of their fantastic kits here: http://www.studiocalico.com/welcome?ref=88e97339
Here are some of the adorable things that came in my March kit, which they called the “Office Hours Kit.”
These navy blue “thickers” are going to be great for phrases and embellishments on pictures. I have the whole alphabet cut out of chipboard to use. The color is fantastic too.
The sequins are the exact colors to match my color theory stamp pallets coming in the mail. I am also pretty psyched about the die cuts. They’re so cute!
At first I was stumped about these thick clear plastic sheets, but they are cut to 4×3, so they will make for an interesting pocket filler that I can decorate how I want.
These are SO cute! I really like the stripes and the anchor painted on the cork, and they’re adhesive. I love anything that’s ready to go!
These are Studio Calico exclusive cards from various designers. I get some of both the 4×6 and the 4×3.
These were my favorites 4x3s. I cannot wait to use the “golden” one and I love that there’s a Roald Dahl quote.
The backs are lined just like pieces of notebook paper.
As of this moment, this is my entire acrylic stamp collection. It’s going to grow each month with my box. This month I got the “Fact No.,” ampersand, butterfly, “taking time,” and the set of numbers.
I’m excited for my craft collection to grow! A lot of these items I can use for other things, like the stamps and the embellishments. Studio Calico also uses some of these same items for the card making kits, so I plan on making some home made cards too. Do you scrapbook or do project life? What do you like to use when you’re crafting?

I love Project Life. Mostly because people design such cute things to add color and interest to my scrapbooking. I'm heading over now to see if they offer any digital versions of these, since I digitally create all of my pages and then have them printed in a giant, hardbound, awesomesauce book at the end of the year.
I love those cork circles! They just gave me ideas for more stenciled cork coasters!
